Petite Paris has discovered the quaint cottage 'La Cachette'. A lovely home, that is Australian owned and offered to Australian Travellers. Located in Varzy Village - in Burgundy - just a short weekend getaway out of Paris...if you're crazy enough to want to 'escape' Paris! - just kidding, even we love the fresh French countryside escape every now ... to be able to return to Paris with renewed energy and love of course ha!!
The cottage has been formed from two former cottages providing the generous rooms of the present dwelling. The original cottage on the corner of rue St Pierre and rue du Moulin can be clearly seen on a sketch of the town dated 1570 with a vacant block between it and the next building where the second cottage was built. The church of St Pierre can be seen at the end of the street.
Accommodates up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms.
