1. La Maison du Chou (pictured above also)

In a pretty square tucked behind the abbey of Saint-Germain, Patissier Manuel Martinez is producing tender cream puffs filled to order. It's a local secret! Never soggy, not too sweet, and piped with tangy fillings based on fromage blanc and flavored with vanilla, coffee or chocolate - you pick! Made ONLY FRESH twice daily the contrast of warm puff and cream flavour is too good to stop at just one. 1.70€ ea, 3 for 5€, 6 for 12€ or 12 for 18€. Tables provided to sip coffee & tea too. MAP

2. Rue Cremiuex

Discover new unique Paris streets. Bright and bold fun, Paris' very own Portobello Rd - a taste of London in Paris @ rue Cremieux :) a street lined with colorful, terraced homes located in the twelfth arrondissement of Paris MAP

3. Deby Debo

We loved this local Parisian fashion designer store Deby Debo. A beauiful mix of casual and gorgeous dressy wear that are classic Parisian in style with fun modern touches. Great quality for price, (hard to find in Paris). Note: sizes run on a larger scale.

4. Chez Gladines

South French comfort food served with wine and/or beer. Chez Gladines is something of a brand name among Parisian, recommended as the best place in Paris for inexpensive, simple, satisfying fare, and also praised for its laid-back, cheery ambiance, which manages both hipness and old-world charm. Enormous mixed salads for next to nothing, hearty Basque dishes presented with simplicity, Gladines delivers.
